Update on the past few week's requests from Cape Cod Veterans from the MA Veterans Service Officers and Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Inc.

Update on the 87 year old Veterans Widow in Yarmouth Port. The furniture was delivered from Habitat For Humanity, the new box spring mattress and railing was donated by Affordable Mattress of Cape Cod, Yarmouthport Carpet is installing the new bedroom carpet. Janice and I shopped for her bedding. . Another item has arisen. The Town of Yarmouth has condemned her "Voltage Box" and I am awaiting the letter explaining the situation. She is very grateful for our generosity. The Korean War Vet in Falmouth needing new heating and hot water systems will get back to CCVI when the Company starts the work. Checks were delivered to MA Veterans Service Officer for the Wellfleet Korean War Vet and wife who needed health insurance assistance and Yarmouth Widow who needed assistance with car insurance, repairs and registration.  It should be noted that Jim Scymour of Cape & Islands Outreach Director has contacted all those in need and offered their Veterans Pantry service.
