FOX25 Morning News Kicks-Off Mission Renovation Contest 
June 4, 2014 --  FOX25 Morning News is honoring one military family with a home renovation in their 2014 Mission Renovation Contest. One lucky military member or veteran will have their living space transformed during the giveaway.   
The winner will receive a grand prize package valued at more than $85,000. The home improvements include new home furnishings, a redesigned kitchen with new appliances, windows, lighting fixtures, an outdoor shed, exterior paint, a flagpole and flag, a mortgage payment paid in full, a 2 year lease on a new car and more!  
For the past 3 years, FOX25 has honored an active member of the United States military with ‘A Wedding To Remember’ and this year our mission has changed. Current and past military members and their families deserve our best, and FOX25 and its partners can’t think of a better way to honor them than with a chance to win a complete home makeover. 
Entrants must be legal Massachusetts residents who are 18 years of age or older, can show proof of ownership of a house or condominium in Massachusetts (where the renovation will occur) and currently be active or reserve members, or veterans of the United States Armed Forces – Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard or the National Guard. 
Applicants have until July 18, 2014 to submit a 500-1000 word essay explaining why they should be chosen for a home renovation. Three finalists will be selected and notified on August 11, 2014. 
The finalists will be introduced during FOX25 Morning News and viewers will be asked to vote for the family they think should receive a home makeover.  The grand prize winner will be announced during FOX25 Morning News on September 24, 2014.   Every detail of the Mission Renovation project will be followed by FOX25 Morning News and the final renovation reveal will be shown on November 11, 2014, Veterans Day.
